Defenders in the Fifth Cosmos
As the Sorcerer Supreme of the Fifth Cosmos, Moridun found Carlo Zota, time-displaced from the Eighth Cosmos, falling to his planet. He enslaved the traveler having seen his future as the devourer of the Sixth Cosmos with Zota by his side as a herald.
Unfortunately, Zota is being followed by a team of Defenders brought together by the tarot cards of Doctor Strange. Their potential as a living spell worried Moridun, so he tried a preemptive strike. Overwhelmed, Strange focuses his magic on Red Harpy and opens the Green Door to banish Moridun temporarily, until they can make their escape.
Devourer of the Sixth Cosmos

Just as Galactus survived the destruction of his home, the Sixth Cosmos, to become the devourer of the Seventh (and Eighth), Moridun was the survivor of the Fifth Cosmos who became the devourer of the Sixth. There, he was dubbed Omnimax, towering over all sentient life and wearing a helmet not unlike the one of Galactus.
He attacked Taa along with Zota, who was now his herald. However, his attempt was thwarted by the Defenders lost in the timestream, whom Moridun had met earlier in his life but later in theirs. Taaia of the Sixth Cosmos had created a device that could repel the devourer, but she could never get it to work. As she and the rest of this cosmos believed only in science, they had no effect on the old wizard, Moridun.
Doctor Strange was able to interpret her science and direct it as magic, ending the devourer’s attack for now and sending his herald into the Fifth Cosmos, where Moridun found him in his previous life.
Summoned to the Eight Cosmos

Moridun, formerly a wizard of the Fifth Cosmos, was summoned to the Eighth Cosmos by The Maker, who was attempting to prove that his current reality was brand new and that universes existed before this one, possibly better ones. Moridun on the other hand liked how fresh and new this cosmos felt and decided to stay. He teleported to the edge of the Andromeda galaxy where he eavesdropped on a group of Kree-Skrull hybrids who were discussing getting their true king, Hulkling of Earth.
While the others retrieved Hulkling and his boyfriend, Wiccan, Moridun killed their elder and waited for their return. He attacked the Kree-Skrull hybrids, but they were followed by Hulkling’s New Avengers team. They managed to distract Moridun long enough for Hulkling to stab him with his newly acquired Star Sword. Thinking Moridun was dead, these Avengers returned to Earth, however, Moridun was only playing dead. He had possessed Wiccan and started using the codename The Demiurge.
Luckily, a group of Avengers from an unknown future came to the present to exorcise Moridun from Wiccan after dealing with an adult version of Billy who Moridun had full control of. Hulkling was able to reach Billy and give him the strength to expel Moridun on his own to the Land of the Dead.
Possessing the Scarlet Witch

After the Griever at the End of all Things struck Scarlet Witch down, she was saved in the afterlife by The Never Queen, twin sister of The Griever. She showed Wanda a way back to Earth through the Land of the Dead, but Moridun guarded the way. They were both confident in their skills against each other, but Wanda sought justice for Moridun's attack on her son and managed to destroy The Old Devourer's body. Despite this, Moridun was still dangerous without his corporeal form, and he takes possession of Wanda "The Thaumaturge" for himself.
Wanda proved more powerful than Moridun realized. She ripped Moridun from her spirit form and left him in pieces in the Land of the Dead.
