Dr. Ouroboros is a deranged clone of Mr. Fantastic, created by The Jackal thanks to a DNA sample provided by a mysterious benefactor.

Creation

Ouroboros was introduced in New Avengers (2025) #1 by Sam Humphries and Ton Lima.

Major Story Arcs

Killuminati

Bucky Barnes and Black Widow put together a New Avengers task force to investigate a secret lab in Russia surrounded by missing persons reports. To protect himself, The Jackal released his clones of the Illuminati, including Dr. Ouroboros. Ouroboros jumped into action, tangling up with Bucky and Widow.

While Iron Apex and Bolt were killed by the New Avengers, Ouroboros made his own escape after Iron Apex told him to. He went to Ecuador where he started experimenting with cosmic rays on the local populace. He was turning them into knockoff versions of the Fantastic Four.

Bucky's new Avengers tracked him down and turned his cosmic ray machine on Ouroboros. This caused his body to grow even more unstable causing him to liquify.

Powers & Abilities

Elasticity: Ouroboros is capable of stretching any part of his body but has a difficult time holding a humanoid shape.
