Origin

Dr. Ouroboros is a deranged clone of Mr. Fantastic, created by The Jackal thanks to a DNA sample provided by Baron Zemo. He was part of a larger agenda set up before Zemo's death to resurrect him should he ever die, which happened during Doom's reign as World Emperor.

Creation

Ouroboros was introduced in New Avengers (2025) #1 by Sam Humphries and Ton Lima.

Major Story Arcs

Killuminati

Bucky Barnes and Black Widow put together a New Avengers task force to investigate a secret lab in Russia surrounded by missing persons reports. To protect himself, The Jackal clone running the lab released the clones of the Illuminati, including Dr. Ouroboros. Ouroboros jumped into action, tangling up with Bucky and Widow.

While Iron Apex and Bolt were killed by the New Avengers, Ouroboros made his own escape/ He went to Ecuador where he started experimenting with cosmic rays on the local populace. He was turning them into knockoff versions of the Fantastic Four. Bucky's new Avengers tracked him down and turned his cosmic ray machine on Ouroboros. This caused his body to grow even more unstable causing him to liquify and die.

When Iron Apex was resuscitated by his armor and convinced the other clones to band together, Apex also re-cloned Ouroboros to join them. Iron Apex led the Killuminati to a lab in Hungary so they can put the finishing touches on Baron Zemo's cloning. The New Avengers tracked them to it and confronted them. Meanwhile, the Zemo clone finished and was released. Iron Apex and Mr. Ouroboros decide to turn on Zemo, who trigger their kill switches, causing them to dissolve.

Powers & Abilities

Elasticity: Ouroboros is capable of stretching any part of his body but has a difficult time holding a humanoid shape.

Intellect: Ouroboros has a keen scientific mind.
