Ms. Yoshida used her mutant powers to become extremely wealthy and joined an organization called the Gauntlet. The Gauntlet used their combined powers to open portals to other dimensions and discovered a world ripe for exploitation. The gauntlet kidnapped young from the planet to sell their body parts for high-profit margins. However, they were followed by one of the young parents who started killing them in revenge. X-Man arrived to push the creature back through the portal, but in the process learned what was going on. He then started executing the Gaunlet himself, starting with Ms. Yoshida.
