Obadiah Shaw was the son of Reverend Hiram and Sarah Shaw. He was in love with a girl named Abigail Harkness but there was suspicion that she was a witch and so his father greatly disapproved.
After his mother's mysterious death, Abigail was accused of her murder and witchcraft. Obadiah believing her innocent freed her and the two fled pursued by his father and the townspeople. During the chase Abigail revealed she was in fact a witch and reduced all the townspeople to cinder except for his father.
Its unknown what happened to Obadiah after this. He is believed to be an ancestor to Sebastian and Shinobi.
