Creation and Evolution
Odessa Drake was created by Nick Spencer and Humberto Ramos. She made her first appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man #8 - Heist Part One.
Later on, we learn that Odessa once had a romantic relationship with Black Cat. Although her sexuality has never been explicitly confirmed, her having had a romance with Felicia means that she is attracted to women and she is not straight.
