Major Story Arc
World War Sea
In Namor's absence, The Orphan King was one of seven undersea rulers fighting to take Namor's throne. He represented the spirits of fallen Atlanteans, who believed themselves to be the truest of orphans. He was visited by Namor, who was released from prison to negotiate the end of World War Sea.
The kings won't listen to reason, so Namor joins the war as an army of one. He fights each army for days, spending his night singing. Each day, members of each army defect to Namor's side, even the kings, none of whom Namor allows to fight, until Namor is the only one still standing. The impressed kings bring him his throne, convinced he is worthy.
Namor destroys the throne, dissolving the monarchy. He created a Council of Seven to lead Atlantis, with members from the seven armies.
