Quothar is from a mirror dimension where he stole a sacred religious statue belonging to Tagak's people. Tagak was sent to pursue Quothar who had fled to New York to continue his string of thefts at a local museum curated by Norman Daniels. Daredevil assisted Tagak and his animal companion Opar in capturing the criminal allowing Tagak to take him back to his dimension.
