History

David Anthony Rice was recruited by Exodus to become an Acolyte. He was sent to Wundagore Mountain where he possessed a shepherd called Fydor. The shepherd had been friends with Bova, a cow who had been evolved by the High Evolutionary with a humanoid form and high intelligence.

Under Rakkus' influence Fydor poisoned Bova. Quicksilver and Crystal visited Bova but were driven away. Quicksilver then informed the High Evolutionary of Bova's illness and they went back to find out that it was caused by poisoning.

An image of Exodus appeared, claiming responsibility and instructing Rakkus to transform Fydor into a monstrous form, who then exploded. Sheilding everyone from the blast, the High Evolutionary slew Rakkus, reverting Fydor back to his former form before he died.

Powers

Rakkus has the mutant ability to possess others by infection. Once possessed he can alter their physical shapes, transforming them into monsters with greatly enchanced physical prowess.
