Creation
Randall Jessup was created by writer Mark Waid and artist Leinil Yu. He first appeared in Indestructible Hulk #3 (Mar. 2013).

Randall is approached by Maria Hill to join three others as Bruce Banner's personal lab assistants. Randall accepts, claiming due to his past, he believes he can handle Banner if he turns into the Hulk.
Journey into Science
Randall is with Bruce Banner, Iron Man, Maria Hill and Patricia Wolman when they find Zadian's hidden island in the Pacific Ocean. Randall stays with the SHIELD team on the boat when Tony and Bruce head into the island.
