Cherryh was a politician that the Kingpin had boght. Fisk was going to have him elected for Mayer, but Ben Urich broke the story that he was corrupt. He tried to sue Urich, but Daredevil traded the Kingpin information about his wife being alive in exchange for Cherryh admitting his crimes and backing down from politics.

Randolph Cherryh appears in the Netflix Daredevil series, portrayed by Jonathan Walker. He is a senator in Wilson Fisk's pocket, though it is implied that he may also have some connections to Cornelius van Lunt and Zodiac. In the season finale, he is one of the many people arrested after Fisk's corrupt dealings are exposed to the public.
