Major Story Arcs
A bank robber, Raven is captured by the Rawhide Kid and placed in prison. There, his cellmate is a Navajo medicine man. Near death, the old shaman gives Raven a winged harness, hidden under the mattress. The harness was "treated with a special Indian herb" that allowed the air to pass through the feathers, and on the downstroke, close together, allowing the wearer to beat the air. When the Indian dies, Raven simply flies from his cell as a guard opens the door.
Going on a criminal rampage, Raven meets his match when the Rawhide Kid heads for the Navajo tribe, getting wings of his own, and has a mid-air showdown with the felon.
