Fifteen-year-old Ronny Choi was a studious boy who lived with his parents. Unfortunately, Ronny had no friends. Moreover, he was constantly bullied by other kids in his neighborhood. He found herself to be more comfortable behind her computer's screen, where he met a friend by the screen name DB001. This individual lured and captured him for his research of Dr. Curt Connors. According to DB001's own research, he discovered that individuals like Ronny had a higher success rate of mutating into reptilian creatures like the Lizard. While in captivity, he was mutated and fought against the X-Men, where he was easily defeated along with his fellow nerds.
