Sarah was an American attending Oxford in England when she met Charles Xavier. She fell in love with Xavier and one day announced she was pregnant with her child, but Xavier was suspicious. Years later, she was taking care of a young son (who was not Xavier's) when they were caught in a hurricane. After the area flooded, Sarah and her son retreated to the roof. Unfortunately, her son was washed away, and Sarah gave up trying to survive. She allowed herself to be taken under the water but emerged later transformed.

Sarah first appeared in the shadows in Uncanny X-Men #1 (2024) by Gail Simone and David Marquez.

Magic: Sarah claims to be a pagan and seemingly is capable of some sorcery
Claws: Sarah's elongated claws are reinforced with Somber Steel, metal salvaged form the weapons of murderers.
