Shara-Lee used the White Dragon as a pawn to do her bidding. She played on his pride and his heart after he was ousted from the council and given the label White Dragon as recognition for his cowardliness. Shara-Lee's plan was to have Tony Stark unknowingly build a nuclear bomb under the groups mind control and bring it to the United Nations building in the guise of a new invention for peace only for it to explode and put their enemies in state of chaos.

Tony Stark was able to fight off the mind control and cancel the United Nations meeting altogether. As for Shara-Lee, in the end it was the White Dragon who killed her and himself after finding out he'd been played and setting their sub-marine to self destruct.
