Silver Squire was a World War I hero, and a member of Freedom's Five. He was the son of a nobleman and met Sir Steel, who was the blacksmith, on his family's estate. At one point during the war he became injured enough that he had to be temporarily replaced on the team by Iron Fist. What eventually became of him after the war is not yet revealed. However, Union Jack is quoted as stating that all the members of his old team were all gone by the time he joined the Invaders during World War II. So it can be assumed that at some point during the years between the wars, he became deceased.
Creation
Silver Squire was created by Roy Thomas and Frank Robbins in 1976 and first appeared in The Invaders # 7.
