Sister Dagger was created by Gene Luen Yang and artist Dike Ruan for the miniseries Shang-Chi (2020).
Origin
Esme is the daughter of Zheng Zu and an unknown woman. She rose to the rank of Sister Dagger, and is the acting Commander of the House of the Deadly Dagger. Since her half-brother Shang-Chi took over their father's organisation, Esme has accompanied her siblings on numerous missions.

Xu Xialing is sister of Shang-Chi in the movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, she is daugher of Jiang Li, guardian of Ta Lo and Xu Wenwu, leader of the criminal organization Ten Rings.
Xu Xialing was played by Chinese actress Meng'er Zhang.
