The unnamed feline is a white American Shorthair cat who lives in a New York City apartment. Like his human roommates, Spider-Cat was given the powers of Spider-Man after being bitten by a bedbug infected with the Spider-Virus. While his roommates played video games, Spider-Cat dreamed of roaming the city and using his powers in an epic battle against a horde of Venom Pigeons. Upon waking from his nap, he dons a spider costume and web-slings out the window in search of adventure.
