Origin

When an injured bottlenosed dolphin was brought to the Multicorp agency, the dolphin was slated to become part of a rehabilitation project that would not only heal the dolphin but give him human level intelligence. He was named Surfstreak and given a suit of armor to enhance his natural abilities and allow him to walk on dry land and he was made a part of the Brute Force Environmental Protection Team. Surfstreak is the most intelligent member of the team, and the most sensitive. When he accidentally killed a mutant animal with his water cannons, he was the only member of Brute Force to be heartbroken over the creature's death. However, he has a pathological hatred of sharks.

Creation

Surfstreak and Brute Force was created by Simon Furman for his series Brute Force.

Major Story Arcs

Ziggy Pig and Silly Seal

Surfstreak and the rest of Brute Force have a booth at "The Alley Behind a Closed Laundromat Comic-Con". Later, Surfstreak an Brute Force show up on a monitor screen of all the animal heroes in the Marvel Universe that Ziggy Pig plans on taking down.

Powers and Abilities

Natural Animal Abilities: Being a dolphin gives Surfstreak amazing swimming and underwater capabilities, as well as echolocation and ultrasonic hearing.

Armor: His armor boosts Surfstreak's natural abilities as well as enables him to move on land. His armor is equipped with high pressure water cannons and can convert into a transport mode for rapid travel. His transport mode is a race car.
