Tagak first appeared battling Daredevil in a classic case of don't judge a book by its covers.
Tagak was actually pursuing a criminal from his own dimension, possibly losing his seeing eye leopard Opar in the process when a night guard or cop (not clear which) shot it.
Tagak also joined up with the Defenders (for a whole day).
His status is currently undetermined according to the best investigations of Tony Stark and the Initiative.
Although originally blind he is now able to see.
