Tantrum was a mutant with super-strength. While attending a therapy class he met a fellow mutant Discordia and the two bonded over their mutual love of chaos. Worshipping the Gods of Chaos, Tantrum and Discordia became partners pursuing a life of crime.

Tantrum was created by Fred van Lente and Scott Clark and first appeared in Hulk Family #1.
