History

Tasha's powers manifested in an uncontrollable manner as her telepathic mind was overwhelmed by the thoughts of others. This drove her into a catatonic state and into the care of Dr. Marc Dale, a fellow mutant. Dr. Dale did not know how to help Tasha, so called for assistance from his friend and collegue, Charles Xavier. Xavier diagnosed the problem and taught Tasha to treat the multitute of thoughts as part of one, beautiful song, which enabled her to recover.
