Tekagi was once a member of the Hand and a lover of Elektra. He later joined Snakeroot and reached the position of second-in-command under Lord Daito. When Daito commited ritual suicide, Tekagi succeeded him. He led them to several missions and faced Elektra again, as an enemy instead of a lover. He defeated her in single combat but let her live. He argued that she could not stop their further plans. The other Snakeroot members suspected Tekagi simply harbored feelings for her.
She returned to face him again and he was again about to defeat her. But this time there was a significant difference. Her weapons were coated with venom. The various small cuts in his body were poisoned and was quickly succumbing to it. Elektra used Sakki, the sacred sword of the order, to kill Tekagi.
