Origin
The Proletarian was a robot duplicate of Colossus created by Arcade. It was based on a pro-Soviet identity that Arcade once brainwashed Colossus into believing he was. After the cadets of the Avengers Academy defeated Arcade, Moon Girl recovered Proletarian so she could rebuild and reprogram him.

The Proletarian first appeared in Avengers Academy: Marvel's Voices Infinity Comic #7 by Anthony Oliveira and Carola Borelli.
