Major Story Arcs
Dark Reign
When the Heavy Hitters seceded from the Initiative because of Norman Osborn's new Initiative's criminal activities, Osborn thought that Freedom Force was the only team in the area organized under Stark's regime that would follow his orders. Freedom Force was ordered to capture or kill the Heavy Hitters and Think Tank obeyed the command, even when it meant fighting the Avenger's Resistance. Along with a large group of other Initiative members including two of his teammates (the real Equinox and Challenger) he was successful in apprehending the Heavy Hitter Prodigy and Avenger's Resistance Member Night Thrasher II.
Fear Itself
Commander Steve Rogers informs Prodigy of the unknown meteors that have fallen from the heavens and mass panic is on the horizon. Rogers asks Prodigy to gather heroes on a volunteer basis to help keep the peace and lead a new Initiative where there is no forced conscription or registration. Prodigy agrees to become the leader of the new Initiative and most of the former Initiative members including Think Tank gather in Washington DC. Think Tank would ask Thor Girl if she believed the mystic hammers were of Asgardian origin but she wasn't sure.
The Paladins

After the Initiative folded, a few recruits, including Think Tank, from across the country came together to form The Paladins, believing they could do a better job without government supervision. The Paladins were desperate to make a name for themselves, so they worked with Veronica Eden, who dreamed of leading Hydra, to fake superhero battles. When Eden was arrested, The Paladins decided to activate The Overseer from Eden's storage to replace her but were easily overwhelmed.
Fifty-One was the only one regretting abandoning Overseer to its own devices. He wanted to warn someone, but Think Tank psychically controlled him. To protect themselves, The Paladins turned Fifty-One into the villain they could publicly fight.
When Fifty-One broke free of the telepathic control, he broke Eden out of prison, getting the attention of Iron Man and Captain America. They believed the story The Paladins told about Fifty-One going rogue, so they returned Fifty-One to their custody after catching him. The Paladins almost killed him when Cap and Stark learned the truth and came to Fifty-One's rescue.
Powers and Abilities
Some unspecified degree of superior intelligence, mostly useful for memorization and applying mathematical formulas into everyday situations (such as projecting where debris from a burning building will fall and when the building will collapse).
Moderate telekinesis.
