The cosmic entithesis to the Phoenix Force, the Tiger God embodies all humans fear outside the safety of the warming fire, beyond the hearth. If Khonshu is the cold light of the moon, and the Phoenix is the life of the flame, the Tiger God is the primal fear of what lurks in the dark.
Creation
While the Tiger God's conception began with the origin of its host the White Tiger, created by Bill Mantlo and George Perez, the primordial aspects of it as a cosmic being were fleshed out decades later throughout the Marvel comics written by Al Ewing.
