Titanoboa was the newest recruit to the society after they rebranded as a cult devoted to Mephisto, the original serpent. His strength and gigantic size made him Pit Viper's secret weapon against the Avengers Emergency Squad, a new on-call Avengers team started by Captain America. They planned heists of magical artifact to sacrifice to Mephisto in the shadow of other emergencies, which the Avengers Squad eventually figured out. It led to a violent confrontation to the two groups, where Titanaboa was able to take on She-Hulk, Wasp, and Spectrum at the same time, but a gamma vapor gadget from Night Thrasher gave She-Hulk a temporary power upgrade to knock him out.
He and the others would be locked up in The Raft afterwards.
