During World War II, Tyler Paxton was one of the many young men chosen to enter the Super Soldier Program "Project ReBirth" alongside Steve Rogers. After Professor Erskine was killed, and the program shut down, Tyler joined the war effort working as a code breaker for Military Intelligence.
