Origin  

Vapor was a surgeon that extracted the eggs from a former Weapon X project called the Native at a private facility in Montana called the Workshop. Vapor would poison the Native with a radioactive isotope to nullify her healing factor for a few hours so she could extract the eggs. During the examination, Vapor discovered that the Native was pregnant and Logan was the father. Logan would kill Vapor and escape with the Native from the Workshop. 

Creation

Vapor was created by Greg Rucka and Darick Robertson in 2004 and first appeared in Wolverine # 17.
