Veronica Vogue dated Tony Stark for a while. She was very condescending towards his secretary, Pepper Potts. When Veronica turned up in time for another date, Pepper misinformed her that Stark had forgotten all about their scheduled dates. Insulted, Veronica vowed to not date Stark again until "a cold day in June". Pepper was pleased to get rid of her.
Shortly after, Stark figured out what Pepper had done. He never told either woman but was rather pleased. He felt Veronica was becoming a bore anyway.
