Victoria Frankenstein is a daughter to Ludwig Frankenstein (a Silver Surfer enemy) and older sister to Veronica Frankenstein. She has inherited the title of "Baroness von Frankenstein" and the hereditary castle of her family. She acts as "Mother" to the Children of the Damned, various surviving creations of the Frankenstein family. She is a pacifist and a healer but has found herself under attack often, mostly by people trying to use her as a hostage against the Frankenstein monster. They reluctantly consider each other family.

Vitoria meets Wolverine and Nick Fury Jr. at the Guernica Bar in NYC. She has been tasked with the job of finding out how Wolverine can better use his powers. She needs to put this task on hold when Wolverine shows up with an alien bullet in his shoulder. She is able to remove it and send him on his way but not without warning him to be careful.
