When Volta's electricity powers manifested, they were too much for her. Electric bolts would fly from her body as she screamed for people to get out of the way. She was rescued by her nation's sovereign, Doctor Doom. He gave her a vibranium spear, which she could use as a lightning rod, channeling her power through it rather than let it wildly arc off her body. She would then be recruited to X-Men of Doom, The Seven Daggers of Latveria.

Major Story Arcs
Fall of X
When Orchis attacked Krakoa, resulting in Krakoan mutants being dead or on the run, Doom's prediction came true. Surviving members of the X-Men attempted to enter Latveria, believing their mutants were being held against their will. Members of the Seven Daggers quickly fought back against the X-Men, eventually defeating them. As a show of good faith, they promised their assistance.
One World Under Doom
After Doom usurped the title of Sorcerer Supreme and used that power to install himself as world emperor, Doom assigned Volta to secure the Central Park Treehouse, the previous headquarters of Krakoa's X-Men. They had turned it into a vault for the last seed of Krakoa, which Volta had stolen for Doom before Krakoa left this dimension.
As part of her position, Volta needed to meet with Mojo to negotiate media rights for Doom's future discoveries at the Treehouse. Mojo was much more interested in taking the seed for himself, so he killed Volta to get his hands on it.
Power & Abilities
Electrokinesis: Volta generates electricity which arcs randomly from her body.
