Zan Philo is the captain of the Nova Corps ship known as the Resolute Duty. He has been trapped in the Fault for 35 years, but when the Fault was created he managed to escape. Nova rescued his ship from an attack of Mindless Ones and has since rejoined with the remaining Nova Corps. He serves as an instructor to the new recruits to the Corps.
