Story Arcs

In Darc issue one, the writings of Niana, another witch who had passed, exposed an influx of succubi in Chicago who were becoming corporeal. Bernadette bought this to the group where they had to choose to stay neutral or decide to police the supernatural world to help preserve the delicate equilibrium that keeps chaos at bay. She also lamented an unspecified situation involving a ring of dead trees and questions their abilities to keep the supernatural in check as their powers are limited.

Powers and Abilities

Bernadette has an unparalleled ability to read and understand ancient languages and scripts, including Sumerian, Egyptian hieroglyphs, Latin, and runes. This skill allows her to access forgotten spells and rituals that many others cannot.
