Origin

Cadilan’s story is rooted in a curse born from unintended consequences. Her mother, Melena, had no idea of the dark forces she would provoke. She was determined to build a prosperous life for herself and her soon to be family, as she had a child on the way and in her ambition, she made a decision that would forever alter the course of many lives. Melena discovered a prime piece of land that she felt would be perfect for her dream home for he new family. However, this land was the home of Kezia Heron, a reclusive old woman whom the townspeople whispered about and regarded as a witch.

Melena, dismissing the rumors, set her sights on acquiring the family land. She and her husband James, used every legal and persuasive means at her disposal to push the Kezia off her family's land, determined to make it her own. What Melena didn’t know was that this woman was indeed a witch, and the land was not just her home, but was on a very powerful node and the source of her magic. Melena finally invited her to a meeting about buying the land, serving tea as she discussed her generous offer over the land's value, but in the end, Kezia still refused. She immediately fell sick and knew the tea had been poisoned. Instead of fighting for her life, the old witch cursed her and her unborn child. The curse, meant to take away the most precious thing in Elena’s life; the baby she eagerly awaited.

When the time came, Melena’s daughter was born stillborn, just as the curse had decreed. The joy that had filled Elena’s and James' life was instantly replaced with unimaginable grief. But then, in what seemed like a miracle, the lifeless child suddenly gasped for air. The devastated parents were overcome with relief, believing their daughter had been miraculously revived.

However, the truth was far darker. In that moment of despair, a succubus named Cadilan seized the opportunity created by the curse. The witch’s dark magic had unintentionally opened a door between worlds, allowing Cadilan to inhabit the infant’s body. The child was revived, but it was Cadilan who now lived within her, taking on a corporeal form in the mortal realm.

As Cadilan grew, her dual nature became increasingly evident. From a young age, she displayed a blend of innocence and innate charm, inherited from her human mother, Elena. However, this charm soon revealed itself to be more than mere sweetness; it was a tool for manipulation and control, reflecting the darker, narcissistic traits that Cadilan had inherited from Elena.

Melena and her husband, James, were devastated by the turn of events. What they initially thought was a miracle quickly turned into a nightmare. As Cadilan grew, her manipulative tendencies became more pronounced. Her actions, driven by a deep-seated narcissism, began to unravel the fabric of her parents' lives. She demanded constant attention and validation, exploiting her parents' need to see their miracle child as a beacon of hope.

Her behavior created a rift between Melena and James. The couple, once united in their grief and joy, found themselves at odds over how to handle their increasingly troubled daughter. Their home, once a place of anticipated happiness, became a battleground of conflicting emotions and strained relationships. The pressure and strain from their daughter's unpredictable behavior and demands, not to mention her seemingly inhuman strength and the strange events that took place around her, eventually drove Melena and James apart. Their marriage, already fragile, could not withstand the weight of their child's dark presence, and they ended up separating, their lives shattered by the very child they had once thought would bring them joy. James eventually suffered a heart attack from the stress before the divorce even went through.

James’s death marked a pivotal turn in Melena’s life as she was the sole inheritor of their shared wealth and assets. The timing of his death was fortuitous for Melena, as it allowed her to gain everything she had sought through the divorce without the emotional and financial strain of the separation. With the inheritance secured and the burden of the failed marriage lifted, Melena found herself in a state of newfound freedom and contentment. The material wealth and the end of her marital troubles provided her with a sense of relief and happiness. She reveled in her newfound status and prosperity, believing her life had taken a turn for the better, though playing the grieving widow.

However, this apparent joy did not go unnoticed by Cadilan, who was deeply observant and sensitive to the dynamics within her family as well as being able to sense her emotions. As Cadilan continued to navigate her own complex existence, she began to piece together unsettling truths about her father’s death. Using her abilities to investigate, she discovered that Melena had been responsible for James’s death, poisoning him as she did Kezia, the poison emulating a heart attack. The revelation struck Cadilan hard. Despite the conflicts and turbulence in their family life, she had always harbored a deep affection for her human father who loved her no matter what and always treated her kindly even when angry at her. She felt a profound sense of betrayal at the realization that Melena killed him.

Overwhelmed by grief, Cadilan confronted Melena. The confrontation was charged with raw emotion and in a moment of intense anger and resolve, Cadilan almost killed Melena with her hate. Melena's heart stopped, emulating a stroke. It was both an act of vengeance and a grim acknowledgment of the destructive path her life had taken. Melena was hospitalized. Cadilan was left to grapple with the consequences of her actions and the full impact of her succubus nature. Her vengeance had been achieved, but it left her to confront the stark reality of her own existence and the role she played within the larger framework of her dark destiny.

Cadilan enrolled in college where her succubus nature came into full bloom. Discovering her powers and cravings, she indulged her desires with reckless abandon. Her charm, combined with her supernatural allure, allowed her to seduce and manipulate numerous men. Each encounter fed her cravings and reinforced her sense of superiority and control and also realized it intensified her abilities. She reveled in the power she held over others, using her abilities to exploit their vulnerabilities and fulfill her own needs.

Cadilan’s college years were marked by a series of tumultuous relationships and manipulative actions. Her behavior was not just a means of exploring her succubus cravings but also a manifestation of her deep-seated narcissism. She saw others as mere tools for her pleasure and gratification, her actions driven by a need to assert her dominance and validate her sense of self.

As she continued to indulge as her behavior grew more erratic and destructive. The emotional fallout from her actions extended beyond her personal relationships, impacting those around her and contributing to a cycle of chaos and heartbreak. Her mom, now estranged and struggling for her own life, was unable to grasp the full extent of the dark force that was her daughter.

Despite the turmoil she caused, Cadilan eventually found a place within the Sisterhood of Lilith, where her unique blend of charm and power was not only accepted but celebrated. Her experiences, shaped by her dual nature and her exploration of her succubus cravings, made her a valuable asset to the Sisterhood. Yet, the damage she inflicted on her parents and the lives she disrupted remained a poignant testament to the consequences of the witch's curse and the dark path she had chosen.

Eventually, she found herself drawn to others of supernatural origin, one of those people being Alva: The Dark Mistress, another earth born succubus who introduced her to the Sisterhood of Lilith, where she was accepted for who and what she was. There, she formed a close bond with Nightevil, a powerful leader whose ambition mirrored Cadilan’s own complex desires. Cadilan embraced her role within the Sisterhood, using her unique powers to further their dark goals, all while navigating the turbulent waters of her dual existence.

While Cadilan’s mother never knew the full truth about her daughter’s nature, the witch’s curse had irrevocably changed her life. Though technically rich she lives in a convalescent home, with a myriad of health problem brought on by the stroke.
