Caesarion or Ptolemy XV Philopator Philometor Caesar was a historical figure. Son of Gaius Julius Caesar and Cleopatra VII of Egypt. He was born in 47 BC. He was co-ruler with his mother from 44 to 30 BC when executed by his adoptive brother Augustus. He has been depicted in the Asterix books, briefly raised by Asterix to escape assassination attempts by Brutus. Falling into Getafix's cauldron Caesarion gained short-lived super powers.
