It goes without saying that Clint is truly one of the most popular people in Hollywood. Most of his numerous films have been successful. While Clint has concentrated on the big screen over the course of his career, in the early days he spent six years as Rowdy Yates on the Western television series Rawhide (1959-1965).
His career reached a turning point when he reinvented himself in Sergio Leone’s influential trilogy (1964-1966) as the mysterious Man with No Name, a role that transformed him into an international icon of the Spaghetti Western subgenre. From that moment on, he continued to evolve, constantly taking on new challenges and expanding his artistic range. More recently he has become a very successful director.
Clint is married to Dina Eastwood, his second wife. They have one child together.
