In Rodney Barnes' and Jason Shawn Alexander's Killadelphia (published by Image), John Adams traveled to the Caribbean after his presidency. There, he and his wife Abigail were ambushed by vampires who turned them both. Returning to America, they started a vampire community in Philadelphia. He was finally killed by former right hand Seesaw and police detective James Sangster Sr. (himself also a vampire).
