Grom Hellscream was the chieftain of the Warsong clan, he was the first to drink the blood of Mannoroth cursing the orcs, eventually he redeemed himself by slaying Mannoroth, ending the curse once and for all.

History
Grommash "Grom" Hellscream, well-known for his bloodlust and black tattoed lower jaw, was a powerful Blademaster and uncontested Chieftain to the Warsong Clan as well as best friend and advisor to Thrall, Warchief of the orcish hordes.
Grom is generally viewed as a hero and saviour of the orcish race who fought a constant battle with his inner self which ultimately culminated into the death of Mannoroth and the end of the Blood Curse that had plagued the orcs with feral bloodlust.
However it shall be noted that Grom was also among the first to drink the blood in the first place, introducing the curse to his people, nonetheless he remains a cultural hero and his death is honored every year by thousands of horde citizens.
