Created by Ron Embleton, Pollodor was a warrior who joined Arion in Boys' World strip Wrath of the Gods.

Encountering Arion, who had been tasked with finding the Bow of Delos by Zeus, Pollodor became his faithful companion. During the quest both were sent to the underworld, Hades, for angering one of the gods, but escaped past the three-headed guard dog Cerberus. However, when they confronted the Medusa, who they had discovered now possessed the Bow, Pollodor was turned to stone.
