He was taught by Vardas, who Kali murdered, to get the Black diamond (it brings success to the one who has it, but will cause its bearer a violent death). But Vardas knew that Kali would betray him. So, he sold the bauble to a collector. Kali was going to get the diamond, no matter how many would die.
Kid eternity and Mr. Keeper found out about Kali. They, and various historical men tried to stop him, but Kali eluded them each time. He hunted the diamond. But Kid and Keep hunted him
Eventually, Kali got the diamond. Then Kid battled against him fiercely, in a speed boat.
And...then Kid totally kicked Kali to his death.
