Judge Dredd first finds Dannn trapped inside a mirror dimension where Dannn has seen nearly every possible future because of his multiple eyes; he has nine but one was damaged so he can only see 8 possible futures. He claims his ninth eye was his best. His different eyes allow him to see multiple possible outcomes though prolonged use of his ability does cause some drain on him as he complains to Dredd about being tired.
