Fergee was created by John Wagner and Mike McMahon. Appearing in the Judge Dredd series of comic books the character was first introduced in 1979, in 2000AD issue100 .
Major Character Arcs
The Undercity dweller Fergee proved a valuable ally to Judge Dredd when the insane Chief Judge Cal took over Mega-City One.
When Cal's hypnotic control over many of the city's Judges looked certain to gain him victory, Fergee sacrificed his life to kill the mad Judge, saving MC1 in the process.
