Judge Giant became a full Judge after passing his final test with Judge Dredd, and became an ally of the senior judge.
When Judge Cal became Chief Judge he was free of Cal's influence and was able to assist Judge Dredd in defeating Cal.
He was killed by Orlok the Assassin before the Apocalypse War.
His son, would go on to be a Judge.
