Jim Fajella is a homicide detective of Las Vegas and one of the best agents of the police department. When Ixtlàn came to Las Vegas to destroy the businesses of his mafia enemies, Jim joined forces with Harlan Draka, Emil Kurjak and Tesla Dubcek to fight him. Three years later, while investigating on the Area 51 and the involvement of Ixtlàn, he was vampirized by him and put against his friends. Jim reacquired his will when Harlan killed Ixtlàn, and from that day he uses his new powers to fight the criminals of his city secretly from the shadows.
