Upon arriving at Darkwood, the friendly Mexican Cico has the misfortune to come across the dangerous criminal Regan. He supplies arms to the Delaware Indians, whose chief, Kanoxen, is planning to drive the white invaders from the forest, by any means possible. On his way Kanoxen meets a mysterious character named Zagor, the avenger of Darkwood.
