In the past Samael had four succubi as disciples, lovers and agents. Meridiana was among them and the only one that Samael had true feelings towards. When Nergal joined The Other Side, Samael sent Meridiana helping him in his mission in the Rome of the 10th century, to prove Prince Iblis what he was capable of and how he could have helped the empire. Meridiana was very manipulative and successful spy and killer, but with time her inner goodness went in contrast with her duty and fled away.
