Michel Dast is a French professional medic and a founding member of the Medical Team. He is a great leader and often solves situations that seems impossible or desperate, coordinating his staff and dealing with soldiers, commanders and other people in the war zones in which he operates. Michel is extremely devoted to his profession and is absolutely apolitical and non-violent, and always try to stay neutral, caring only for the innocents that need to be saved and cured. He hates any kind of injustice, but hardly accepts to intervene, for the good of the Medical Team and his co-workers. Due to this, he hardly stands Harlan and his team's violent methods, and Arno Lotsari's tendency to follow them, even if he understands that their actions are for good.
