Origin
Recca was the son of the leader of the Hokage Clan during the 16th century in Japan. He was born with the potential to control and manipulate fire, an ability that manifested in future leaders of the Clan.
The Hokage Ninja's were wiped out when Recca was a baby, and to protect him his Mother used her magical powers to send him forward in time 400 years just as the enemy were about to close in.
Recca grew up on the present day with no knowledge of his heritage.
Creation
Recca is the main protagonist of the series "Flame of Recca", he was created by Nobuyuki Anzai for Shogakukan's Japanese anthology comic, Weekly Shonen Sunday.
