Origin

Hasuha has never been good at studying, and when she was younger, her classmates always made fun of her for it, calling her stupid and similar stuff. However, this started to change after she deducted the answer to something that happened in class, and got called a "great detective", since then, Hasuha has always been looking for chances to make deductions.

Creation

Hasuha was created by Rikito Nakamura (writer) and Yukiko Nozawa (artist), and she first appeared in Weekly Young Jump No. 10 from 2025, in the 204th chapter of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You.

The name Hasu Hasuha (端須蓮葉) is a pun on a Japanese slang, the slang being a Japanese onomatopoeia for sniffing heavily while being aroused (ハスハス , hshs).

Character Evolution

Appearance

Hasuha is normally seen wearing a mix between a high school uniform and a detective uniform, the detective uniform being composed of a brown coat with brown pockets, a red necktie, and brown socks and shoes.

Hasuha's appearance is based around dogs, as her brown hair makes her look like she has Border Collie ears, as well as having eyebrows similar to those of a Shiba Inu. Hasuha also has brown eyes with pupils shaped after flowers.

Personality

Hasuha considers herself to be a great detective, albeit she uses this as an excuse to smell everything around her, from uniforms to underwear. Nonetheless, Hasuha is shown to enjoy solving mysteries and helping those around her with a kind and friendly attitude.
